In 55347, 52.4% of homes went under contract within two weeks of listing, per the Real Estate Data Aggregator. That share rose 14.5 points from a year ago. Buyers in that ZIP are moving quickly.

Both ZIPs averaged sale prices above list. The Real Estate Data Aggregator put 55346 at 100.2% and 55347 at 100.3%. Sellers are not giving ground on price.

What the national rate picture means here

CNBC reported the average 30-year fixed rate rose to 7.49% as of October 7, 2026. That is real pressure on buyers.

CNBC also reported mortgage purchase applications fell 2% for that same week. Some buyers are pausing. That is worth knowing.

Even so, Eden Prairie's pending sales still rose 17.6%, per the Real Estate Data Aggregator. Local demand has held up despite the rate environment.

Nationally, Realtor.com reported mortgage rates topped 7% for the first time since January 2025. Price cuts hit 20.8% of listings nationally, the highest since October 2022. Eden Prairie is not seeing that same pattern in its sold data, at least not yet.

Supply is up, but not loose

The Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 2.1 months of supply in 55346, up 1 month from a year ago. In 55347, it was 1.9 months, down 0.9 months.

Both are well below the 6 months that signals a balanced market. Sellers still have the edge, though it is smaller in 55346 than it was.

In 55346, new listings rose 67.9%, per the Real Estate Data Aggregator. That is a big jump. Homes for sale rose 83.3% there too. More competition for sellers in that ZIP.

In 55347, new listings actually fell 3%, per the Real Estate Data Aggregator. Homes for sale there dropped 16.2%. Less competition for sellers, more pressure on buyers.

In short
  1. Eden Prairie added more listings and still absorbed them.
  2. Pending sales rose 17.6% and homes sold rose 17.2%, per the Real Estate Data Aggregator, for the three months ending August 31, 2026. Prices are up in both ZIPs.
  3. Rates are higher nationally, but local demand has not faded.
