One part of Eden Prairie added listings, but the market stayed quick
Here is the one thing that matters most right now. Realtor.com reported that 20.4% of listings nationwide saw a price cut in August 2026. That means pricing carefully is more important than ever, even in a market that is still moving fast.
These numbers cover the three months ending July 31, 2026, for Eden Prairie's two ZIP codes, 55346 and 55347.
55346: More choices for buyers, but demand held firm
The Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 44 homes for sale in 55346 during the three months ending July 31, 2026. That is up 57.1% from the same months of 2025. New listings rose 35.7% to 95. Buyers had more to look at. Even so, the median days on market held at 14, unchanged from a year before, according to the Real Estate Data Aggregator. Demand did not slow down.
More inventory did not push buyers away. The Real Estate Data Aggregator found that 52.4% of homes in 55346 sold above list price, up 4 points from a year earlier. The average sale came in at 101% of list price. Sellers who priced well still did well.
The Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 69 pending sales in 55346, up 9.5% from a year before. Nearly 6 in 10 homes, 59.4%, went under contract within two weeks of listing. That share rose 3.8 points from last year. Buyers are still deciding quickly.
55347: Fewer homes available, prices up nearly 10%
The picture in 55347 is different. The Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 99 homes for sale there, down 20.8% from a year earlier. New listings fell 8% to 183. Less supply and strong demand pushed the median sale price to $575,000, up 9.5% from the same months of 2025.
The Real Estate Data Aggregator found that 57.8% of homes in 55347 went under contract within two weeks. That is up 8.9 points from a year before. The median days on market was 20 days, 2 days longer than last year. Not every home sold fast, but most moved quickly.

What the national picture adds
Realtor.com reported that 20.4% of listings nationwide saw a price cut in August 2026. Realtor.com also noted that median list prices fell 1.3% year over year that month. That is the wider backdrop. Eden Prairie's own numbers, from the Real Estate Data Aggregator, show prices still rising in both ZIP codes. But the national trend is a reminder: pricing right matters.
CNBC reported an average 30-year fixed mortgage rate of 7.45% as of September 24, 2026. That rate affects what buyers can afford. Sellers who price carefully give buyers less reason to walk away.
- 55346 added a lot of listings, yet homes still sold in 14 days and more than half went above list price.
- 55347 had fewer homes available and prices rose 9.5%.
- Across Eden Prairie, sales and pending deals both climbed.
- Price carefully: more choices for buyers does not mean slower demand.
